A. Comforted by Heavenly rewards:PSA 37:9. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. MAT 5:4. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. LUK 6:21. Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh. LUK 12:32. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. MAT 25:34. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: LUK 16:19. There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: LUK 16:20. And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, LUK 16:21. And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. LUK 16:22. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; JOH 16:20. Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. ROM 8:18. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 2CO 4:17. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 2CO 1:7. And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation. 2TI 2:12. If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: B. There will be no more sorrow or tears in Heaven:ISA 25:8. He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it. REV 21:4. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. REV 7:17. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. |
