A. Forsaking parents & loved ones:DEU 33:9. Who said unto his father and to his mother, I have not seen him; neither did he acknowledge his brethren, nor knew his own children: for they have observed thy word, and kept thy covenant. PSA 45:10. Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house; PSA 45:11. So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him. MAT 10:36. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. MAT 10:37. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. MAT 12:48. And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. LUK 9:62.
