A. Reasons why we're sometimes not healed:ISA 59:1. Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: ISA 59:2. But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. HOS 5:15. I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early. 2CO 12:7. And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 2CO 12:8. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 2CO 12:9. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. HEB 10:36. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. JAM 1:3. Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 1PE 1:7. That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: B. Testify publicly about your healing:JOB 36:24. Remember that thou magnify his work, which men behold. PSA 107:2. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; MAR 5:19. Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. ACT 4:10. Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. PSA 22:22. I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee. PSA 22:25. My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him. PSA 35:18. I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people. PSA 107:31. Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! PSA 107:32. Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders. C. Obey God once healed or your sickness may return:JOH 5:14. Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. PSA 85:8. I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly. |
