A. God promises to tell you exactly where to go:

PSA 32:8. I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

PSA 37:23. The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

ISA 30:21. And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

B. You must depend upon God to lead you:

JER 10:23. O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

PSA 25:4. Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.

PSA 25:5. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

PSA 31:3. For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.

PRO 4:26. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.

C. The Lord sends His angels to guide you:

EXO 23:20. Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

EXO 32:34. Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them.

GEN 24:7. The LORD God of heaven, which took me from my father's house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence.

D. You must seek & pray for His leading:

PSA 25:4. Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.

PSA 143:8. Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

PRO 3:5. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

PRO 3:6. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

E. Let God lead even if you don't know where you're going:

HEB 11:8. By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
