A. God's love for us:

JER 31:3. The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

ROM 8:38. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

ROM 8:39. Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

EPH 2:4. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

EPH 2:5. Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

EPH 2:6. And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

1JOH 3:1. Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

1JOH 4:10. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

ZEPH 3:17. The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest

in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

B. How God showed us His love:

JOH 3:16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

ROM 5:7. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

ROM 5:8. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

1JOH 4:9. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

C. Jesus' love for us:

JOH 10:11. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

JOH 15:13. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

2COR 8:9. For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

EPH 3:19. And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

REV 1:5. And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

D. Dwelling & abiding in God's love:

JOH 14:21. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

JOH 14:23. Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

JOH 17:26. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

1JOH 2:5. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
