1. Obedience to God:

A. Obedience to God is our duty:

ECC 12:13. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

DEU 13:4. Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.

DEU 27:9. And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Take heed, and hearken, O Israel; this day thou art become the people of the LORD thy God.

DEU 27:10. Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.

JER 11:7. For I earnestly protested unto your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice.

JOH 2:5. His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

LUK 17:10. So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

B. Obey wholeheartedly:

ROM 6:17. But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

DEU 26:16. This day the LORD thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

PSA 119:34. Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

PSA 119:69. The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.

C. Obey in all things:

DEU 5:32. Ye shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

2KI 22:2. And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in all the way of David his father, and turned not aside to the right hand or to the left.

2CO 2:9. For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.
