PreviousNext

A. Spiritual rebirth makes you a new creature:

JOH 3:3. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

MAT 18:3. And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

JOH 1:13. Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

ROM 12:2. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

2CO 5:17. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

1PE 1:23. Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

B. You will desire to work for Jesus:

EPH 2:10. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

TIT 2:14. Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

EPH 4:21. If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

EPH 4:22. That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

EPH 4:23. And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

EPH 4:24. And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

COL 3:8. But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

COL 3:9. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

COL 3:10. And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

TIT 3:8. This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

JAM 2:18. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
