A. God's strength is manifest in our weakness:2COR 4:7. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. ISA 40:29. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. PSA 8:2. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. PSA 37:39. But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble. PSA 73:26. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. ISA 25:4. For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall. ISA 41:10. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. 2COR 1:8. For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life: 2COR 1:9. But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead: 2COR 12:9. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2COR 12:10. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. 2COR 13:4. For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you. HEB 11:34. Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. PSA 94:17. Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence. PSA 94:18. When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up. B. When you have no other help He'll strengthen you:PSA 72:12. For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper. LUK 22:43. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. LUK 22:45. And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow, 2TI 4:16. At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge. 2TI 4:17. Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. PSA 27:10. When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up. C. He will give strength day by day to keep you going:DEU 33:25. Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be. MAT 6:34. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. D. When you have only little strength the Lord will help you:PSA 37:24. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. ISA 35:4. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. DAN 11:34. Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. REV 3:8. I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. |
