PSA 34:19. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. ACT 14:22. Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God. 1CO 10:13. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1TH 3:3. That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto. HEB 12:7. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 1PE 4:12. Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 1PE 4:17. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 1PE 5:9. Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. PSA 26:2. Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.
