Witnessing

7. What you should preach (witness about):
PreviousNext

A. Preach the gospel; preach Jesus:

ISA 58:1. Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.

MAT 28:19. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

MAT 28:20. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen

MAR 16:15. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

LUK 9:2. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

JOH 3:16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

ACT 4:2. Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.

ACT 5:42. And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

ACT 13:32. And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,

ACT 13:33. God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

ACT 13:34. And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.

ACT 13:35. Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

ACT 13:38. Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:

ACT 20:21. Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

ROM 5:8. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

1COR 1:23. But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

1COR 15:3. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

1COR 15:4. And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

2COR 4:5. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

2COR 5:20. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

1TIM 1:15. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

1JOH 4:14. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

ACT 10:42. And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

ACT 24:25. And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.

EPH 3:8. Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

B. What not to talk about:

1COR 3:2. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

1TH 2:3. For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:

1TH 2:4. But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.

1TH 2:5. For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness:

1TH 2:6. Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ.

2TIM 2:23. But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.

TIT 3:9. But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

HEB 5:14. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
