A. We are to constantly witness:ECC 11:6. In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good. JOH 4:35. Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. ACT 5:42. And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ. 2TIM 4:2. Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 1PE 3:15. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: ACT 20:31. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. B. Pray for God to open up witnessing opportunities:COL 4:3. Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: C. Wait until it's God's time to witness to certain people:MAT 10:5. These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: MAT 10:6. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. MAT 10:7. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. ACT 16:6. Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia, ACT 16:7. After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not. ACT 19:1. And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, ACT 19:10. And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks. |
