Witnessing

14. Witnessing the greatest work on earth:
PreviousNext

A. Witnessing is a job worth giving all for:

MAT 4:19. And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

MAT 4:20. And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.

MAT 4:21. And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them.

MAT 4:22. And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him.

LUK 5:9. For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:

LUK 5:10. And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.

LUK 5:11. And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.

MAR 8:35. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

MAR 10:29. And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,

LUK 9:59. And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

LUK 9:60. Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

B. Heavenly reward for witnessing:

PRO 11:30. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

DAN 12:3. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

MAT 13:43. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

LUK 12:8. Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

1COR 3:8. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

1COR 9:16. For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!

1COR 9:17. For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.
